Last updated: June 2026 (draft)

This Privacy Policy explains what information Meridian collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Meridian website and platform.

Information we collect

When you request access or contact us, we collect the details you provide directly:

  • Your name and the organization you represent
  • Your role and work email address
  • Any message or context you choose to share

When you use the Meridian platform, we process information needed to operate the service, including authentication identifiers and the portfolio and site data you or your organization upload or connect.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to evaluate and provision access, to operate and improve the platform, to communicate with you about your request and your account, and to meet legal and security obligations.

Submitting the request-access form does not create an account. Access is provisioned to approved organizations out of band.

Satellite and public data

Meridian derives reclamation and recovery analytics from publicly available satellite imagery (such as Sentinel-2) and public regulatory and geospatial datasets. This source data is not personal information.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, hosting, authentication, and email), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, or where required by law.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, and we apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided, subject to legal and contractual limits. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
