These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Meridian website and platform.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Meridian website or platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using Meridian on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
Access and accounts
Access to the Meridian platform is provisioned to approved organizations; there is no public self-serve sign-up. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
Permitted use
You may use Meridian only for your organization’s internal business purposes and in compliance with applicable law. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the platform or its outputs except as expressly permitted
- Upload data you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others
- Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the service
Analytics, scores & no warranty of outcomes
Meridian provides recovery scores, ARO estimates, and related analytics derived from satellite imagery and public data. These are decision-support estimates, not appraisals, legal advice, or guarantees. They are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, and should be used alongside your own judgment and professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make using the platform.
Intellectual property
Meridian and its underlying software, models, and content are owned by Meridian and its licensors. Data you provide remains yours; you grant Meridian a limited licence to process it to provide and improve the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the analytics provided. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
